Home Is Where the HeART Is – 2026

9th Annual

Oregon and southwest Washington artists are invited to apply to the 9th annual juried show presented by Lunaria Gallery in Silverton, Oregon. ‘Home is Where the Heart Is’ is open to all media. Artists are asked to address the feeling of HOME or what moves their HEART. We feel that the theme is open to broad interpretation, can be emotionally evocative, and visually resonant. This show will run from January 2nd  thru February  2nd, 2026.

There are two awards presented each year; a People’s Choice Award and a Member’s Award. The artist receiving the Member’s Award has the opportunity to exhibit as a Guest Artist in The Loft at Lunaria Gallery. 

Artists may submit up to 3 images with the following requirements: 

• 2Dwork must not be larger than 22” x 28”; be professionally presented with artist hanging wire securely attached – no sawtooth hangers. If matted, matting is to be clean, neatly cut and in excellent condition. Glass and frames, when used, must be clean and unscratched. Unframed paintings must be box-finished with professionally finished edges or framed. 
• 3D work must have no sharp edges or loose parts. It must not weigh more than 40 lbs., must be able to stand alone or be firmly attached to a base and fit stably on a pedestal or freestanding and stable on floor. Suspended items must include hanging device. For large or heavy work, artist must be prepared to be available to move item for curator. Ceramics must be food safe or identified as not for food use. Textiles must have label attached listing material(s) and care instructions. Any exceptions must be requested at the time of application and pre-approved by Lunaria.
  
• Artwork must be original; artists prints are fine – giclee or other reproductions will not be accepted.
• There is no cost to apply, however, a $20 hanging fee will be charged per accepted piece.
• A 40% commission will be charged on sales.

Deadline for application: December 1st, 2025, midnight PST
Notification of acceptance: December 3rd, 2025
Deliver work to gallery: Sunday, December 28th, 2025, 11:30 am – 4:00 pm
Show dates: December 30th thru February 2nd, 2026. 
Opening reception: January 2nd, 2026. 
Pick up unsold work: Monday, February 2nd, 2026, 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
