About the Artist

Lori Rodrigues was born and raised in Central Oregon. She took up art as a child and it remained the one constant throughout her varied professions. She worked on horseback in Sunriver, OR, Palm Springs, CA and Yellowstone National Park before becoming the Naturalist at Silver Falls State Park near Silverton, Oregon.

Under the business name, LL Webb, Rodrigues began painting murals in 1995. Her mural projects can be seen in several Oregon State Parks, at the state fairgrounds, in the cities of Saint Paul, Silverton and in Valladolid, Mexico.

Lori has been an artist at Lunaria Gallery since 2006. She works mostly in acrylics and watercolors and her style can be described as representational, if not realistic.

Artist Statement

I find more satisfaction in variety and diversity than in niche styles. My art is about exploration. As I interpret geological landscapes, cultural ruins, tropical jungles, or the night sky, art is my way of understanding the subject and sharing it with others. It is a way to interpret the journey and discover more about myself in the process. My most recent works share images that recall the joys of youth and adventure, extraordinary places, rare creatures, a bit of fantasy and wonders of nature.
